An all-star, Emmy-nominated chronicle of the L.A. singer-songwriter scene of the late ’60s/early 70s, featuring Carole King, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and many other music luminaries, premiered in competition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. It went on to win Audience Awards at the Santa Barbara, Port Townsend and Thin Line Film Festivals, was released theatrically in NY, LA, DC and select cities, and was broadcast on PBS’ American Masters and BBC4. Following its U.S. broadcast, the film was Emmy nominated for Nonfiction Cinematography. It is currently playing in several European film festivals after its UK premiere at Edinburgh in the summer of 2011. In the U.S., it can be purchased in a deluxe CD/DVD set from Concord Music, and in the UK on a single-disc set from Universal.
