The 10th Ashland Independent Film Festival launched yesterday here in the rolling hills of the Rogue Valley. As ever, it promises an invigorating mix of not-found-in-multiplex fare, close encounters with filmmakers, a wonderful setting, and a richly varied calendar of events, all rolled into 5 chockablock days.
