This American Life

In 2004 (rerun in 2005), Eddie, along with his mom and dad, appeared with Ira Glass to tell the story of his crazy Aunt Mary, a piece of cheese, and her last will and testament. The episode, beloved by many fans of the show, is called “Family Legend”.

Documentary Filmmakers Win Exemption from Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Documentary filmmakers today gained access to previously “locked” DVD content for fair use in their productions under an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act granted to them by the US Copyright Office.

‘Crude’ Filmmaker Gets Support, Open Letter From Film Community

The IDA and a group of filmmakers that includes Academy Award winners and nominees have issued an open letter in support of Joe Berlinger, the director of Crude, and objecting to a judge’s ruling that Chevron could subpoena Mr. Berlinger’s footage from his film.
